The awards were announced on the occasion of 40th Foundation Day celebrations of NABARD on Monday at a webinar on “Resilience of Indian Agriculture amidst Pandemic.” 

DCCB Chairman Gongidi Mahender Reddy said the State government succeeded in bringing the past glory to agriculture and had ensured that farmers reap profits from cultivation.

Karimnagar DCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao said that they have set to convert all the 128 PACS into Multi service centres in the district and already more than 50 per cent societies have been transformed into MSCs

Urged cooperative banks in other States to replicate Telangana model

Incidentally, the Karimnagar DCCB has emerged as the first cooperative bank in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states to announce enhancement of retirement age and health insurance coverage to all its employees.
