Teams of the Cyberabad police along with the pollution control board officials checked the premises of pubs and amusement places on Friday night.

The checks were conducted with the help of specially trained dogs that sniff out different varieties of drugs.

Cyberabad DCP (traffic) D V Srinivas Rao, discussed various issues during the meeting that include reducing traffic congestion issues in front of malls and pubs.

The police had asked the pubs to shutdown their establishments by 1 am.
