At a time when every other political party, civil rights organisations and tribal rights organisations were sending their leaders to Lagacherla to listen to the voices of the farmers, neither the TPCC President nor any other top Congress leader has made an effort to listen to the voices of farmers.
Addressing party workers in Sangareddy town, the TPCC president observed that the cadre had every right to express their disappointment over the leadership, who were there only because of the party workers.

The MLC severely condemned the murder of his close aid Gangareddy (53) on Tuesday. He staged a protest on the road and vented his ire over the Congress leadership.
Stating that the defection of MLAs was being encouraged after getting the AICC's approval, Goud said the MLAs were not being compelled nor were they being assured any posts.
