Farmers in Karimnagar district continue to face a shortage of urea, standing in long queues, reserving spots with slippers and stones, and even sleeping overnight at fertiliser shops to secure limited supplies, as societies struggle to meet demand in Thimmapur and Saidapur mandals.

The BRS launched a two-day statewide agitation in Telangana protesting the Congress government’s alleged conspiracy to undermine the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and target former CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao. K. T. Rama Rao vowed to fight legally, politically, and on streets.

AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi challenged the Congress government in the Assembly, scrutinising the PC Ghose Commission report on the Kaleshwaram project. The Telangana High Court adjourned to Tuesday the hearing of a petition by former CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao and BRS leader T. Harish Rao challenging the PC Ghose Commission report on Kaleshwaram. The court did not decide on interim relief.
