Inter second year student K Pragna Reddy (18), died by suicide in the college hostel room allegedly over harassment from the college principal and management at Pragathi Nagar, Bachupally on Monday.

On Wednesday night, the boy, Jaishvanth Goud, went into room in the hostel and hanged himself from the ceiling fan

“After the statue was installed they felt it hindered their activities and damaged it out of frustration,” said DCP (Balanagar), K Suresh Kumar

The victim's body was found hanging to the ceiling in one of the rooms in the hostel building, according to police officials.

Cyberabad Traffic police requested citizens to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate.

The cases were registered based on the complaint made by the officials of the irrigation department.
