The coordination among the senior officials in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates apart from adequate number of police personnel at the counting centres and increasing surveillance in sensitive areas resulted in the smooth conduct of the counting process.

Counting of the votes cast in all 150 divisions began at 8 a.m. at 30 places in the city with the Telangana State Election Commission deploying over 8,000 personnel.

The police force deployed on the ground will be assisted by special IT teams of the City Police seated in the Command and Control Centres in the respective commissionerates and the DGP's Office.

The Commissioner and his team visited KPHB Phase-IV, Malaysian Township and other colonies and polling locations, and reviewed bandobast arrangements.
