Lyca Productions has announced that Lockdown, starring Anupama Parameswaran, will release in theatres on January 30. The woman-centric film, based on a true story, was postponed earlier due to rains and other issues.

Anupama Parameswaran’s upcoming film Lockdown has been postponed yet again, with Lyca Productions citing “unforeseen circumstances.” This marks the second delay in two weeks, after earlier rescheduling due to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. A new release date will be announced soon.

Though details of the cast and crew are yet to be known, the makers unveiled a special video announcing the project.

Arjun, a versatile actor who has left his mark on the southern film industry with his diverse roles, is all set to captivate audiences once again in ‘Vidamuyarchi’.

The film marks the return of the blockbuster ‘Mankatha’ trio – Ajith Kumar, Trisha, and action king Arjun.

‘Vettaiyan’ holds a special place for fans as it not only reunites Rajinikanth with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan after three decades since their last collaboration in the 1991 film ‘Hum’, but it also marks his 170th movie.

The makers have recently delighted fans with an update on the film’s release. The film will be releasing across the world in June.
