Helmed by 'KGF 2' director Prashanth Neel, 'Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire' stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.

Despite a massive box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dunki', the Prabhas and Prithviraj starrer performed well at the box office.

The Prabhas-starrer film is witnessing a solid run across India, having surpassed Rs 500 crore worldwide.

According to the makers, the movie has crossed the 500 crore mark worldwide since its global release on December 22.

Reportedly, the movie has been tentatively named Raja Deluxe. It will have a horror comedy theme. After Billa, this will be the second time the Adipurush actor will be seen essaying a double role.

 The makers officially announced the collection details on X platform this Monday.

Fans eagerly thronged theatres, leading to a record-breaking ticket sale. On its opening day, the film grossed an impressive Rs 178.7 crore worldwide.

The film has garnered immense appreciation from fans, industry insiders, and critics alike.

Audience familiar with Ugramm may notice similarities in the story, but they can also appreciate Neel's evolution in storytelling, from Sri Murali's Ugramm in 2014 to Prabhas's Salaar in 2023.

One of the fans said, "I liked the film. Salaar movie gave a nice twist at the end. As the movie is about friendship, I liked it."

In a latest interview, which is now doing rounds on the internet, Prashant Neel dropped hints of Salaar being an adaptation of his debut film Ugramm which was released in 2014.
