Based on CCTV footage, the police nabbed the gang at Hyderguda in Rajendrangar in the early hours of Friday, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said.
The forest officials reached the spot and are making efforts to shift the animal to the Nehru Zoological Park where it will be kept for some time before a decision is taken on releasing it in the wild.
