The government had failed to extend any kind of crop investment support so far. Farmers had pinned high hopes on the promise of Rs.15000 per acre assured by the government under Rythu Bharosa.

He expressed his dissent over the Congress government's attempts to undermine sacrifices of Telangana movement and martyrs in Telangana State formation in an attempt to portray itself as messiah who delivered the State.

Meetings would be held soon with representatives of farmers' organisations before the two key programmes sponsored by the State government get underway.

“However, the cash will reach where it has to. Will I stand by my word or not, let us check on May 9,” Revanth Reddy challenged the BRS.
