Obaidullah (22), a resident of Mallepally met the woman a few months ago and both of them became close friends.

The FIR alleges that the victim was sexually harassed when she went to seek help on February 2. The victim had sought help in a case related to another alleged sexual assault on her.

On a complaint from the mother of the victim the police booked a case under various Sections of POCSO and Indian Penal Code and arrested him on January 19 last year.

The accused, who worked as a teacher at a school in suburban Govandi, was held guilty under relevant provisions of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act by the court.

In court on Thursday, Trump appeared relatively subdued compared to his appearances last week.

The woman, who is a native of Mumbai, was introduced to the doctor through a matrimonial portal in 2022.
