The Suryapet Town Police arrested two persons and seized banned tobacco products worth Rs.11 lakh from them at the integrated vegetable market on Sunday.
A court on Tuesday sentenced Dinakar Sunil from Adilabad district to 10 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh after convicting him in a cannabis smuggling case booked in 2021.
