Out of the 59 Distribution Transformers (DTRs) that were affected by floods five were repaired and the work on the remaining was going on.

The Chief Minister has asked all officials concerned to come prepared for the meeting since the State government has to submit a report to the Centre on the losses caused by the heavy rains and flash floods in the State.

Heavy rains were witnessed in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, Khammam, Nagarkurnool, Medak, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Warangal and Wanaparthy.
