The Telangana Council of Higher Education has announced the DOST 2026 schedule for degree admissions. The three-phase process begins on April 15, with seat allotments and reporting spread across May and June. Classes are set to begin from July 1.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has announced the DOST 2025 special phase counselling schedule. Registrations and web options will be open from July 25 to 31. Seat allotment is scheduled for August 3, with online self-reporting required by August 6.

Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) in a press release said the decision to extend the last date was taken in the interest of the students.

Students have to self-report online and report at the allotted college on August 9.

While 29,707 students registered in second phase admissions, 3,270 candidates could not get seat allotment as they exercised a limited number of web options. As for faculty-wise allotments, commerce continues to be the top choice with 14,012 students receiving a seat in the stream.

This new honours programme will be offered by 15 government and private degree colleges in the State and admissions will be through the Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) 2024.

As per the new DOST schedule, the web options will now commence on May 20 instead of May 15.

The department is also focusing on formulating a new law to regulate fees and planning to come up with a new fee structure for the junior college before going in for admissions online.

The association asked for a quick review of degree program fees and DOST admissions.

If a candidate fails to self-report online or report at an allotted college before the deadline, he/she will forgo the self-reported/seat allotted.
