Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy welcomed former Supreme Court Judge S Abdul Nazeer after he was appointed Governor of the State on Sunday.
President Droupadi Murmu appointed retired SC Judge Justice S. Abdul Nazeer as Governor of AP while the present governor Harichandan Viswabhushan has been appointed as Governor of Chhattisgarh.
The government has also decided to distribute text books at the beginning of the academic year for both the semesters under Jagananna Vidya Kanuka programme.
