As the Chief Minister announced that leaders who strive for the party success would be given priority in appointment of nominated posts, many leaders are making a beeline to Gandhi Bhavan.

Accordingly, people coming in cars from Nampally side have to park vehicles at Gruha Kalpa, Gagan Vihar and Chandra Vihar and proceed on foot towards Exhibition Ground Gate No. 2.

MP Anil Kumar Yadav said people across the country were fed up with the BJP government and desired a change at the Centre.

Though officials are tight-lipped over the closure of the main entrance, speculations are rife that the gate was closed to make Vaastu changes.

Disclosing this to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Ponnam said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had entrusted him with supervising the process of preparing the draft Bill that would be presented in the Assembly.

The slogans, which also decried the entry of Kandi Srinivas Reddy into the party from the BJP, assumed significance in the backdrop of the assertions of the BRS, that TPCC president A Revanth Reddy was an RSS man who had managed to get into the top post of the Congress in the State.

Posters targeting Goud were also put at Gandhi Bhavan and in a few places in LB Nagar constituency that ‘parachute’ leaders should not be given tickets.

On Friday, the last day of filing applications for tickets, Gandhi Bhavan teemed with activity as many leaders turned up at the venue along with their family members to file applications.
