Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, who defected from BRS to Congress post the 2024 MP elections, now faces disqualification threats and political isolation. Despite joining Congress, he remains distant from both parties, leaving voters and leaders guessing his next move.

Speaking to news reporters after the raids, the BRS MLA termed the raids as politically motivated. Stating that they had cooperated with the ED, he said ED officials had realised that everything was fair with them.

Reddy, an active member of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from his student days, had taken ill on July 23.

Comforting the parents, Mahipal Reddy said he would will extend all support to help Sai Charan recover and return safely to India.

Ameenpur Municipality is fast growing, he said, adding that the State government was committed to providing all infrastructure in new colonies.
