Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, Praveen Kumar highlighted the absence of a dedicated Home Minister and the frequent changes in the DGPs, which have led to poor management of law and order. "During former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's tenure, Rs 700 crore was allocated in the first Cabinet meeting to prioritize law and order, establishing Telangana as a national role model. However, the current situation is dismal," he commented.

During the Question Hour, Congress member MS Prabhakar alleged that the incident of food poisoning was taking place as part of a conspiracy hatched by a former IPS (Indirectly targeting BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar) who played a crucial role in running social welfare residential schools.

RS Praveen Kumar called the Congress government's announcement of a "new menu" misleading, noting that it was the existing menu introduced during the BRS regime.

"Congress leaders should be ashamed to blame BRS for repeated incidents of food poisoning across the State. They are behaving as if the BRS is in power and they are in opposition, by coming up weird conspiracy theories to deflect the blame," he said, adding that such blaming would only project the Congress rule in a poor light.

He condemned the allegation of Forest Minister Konda Surekha that he was behind the series of food poisoning taking place in government schools and residential schools in the last few weeks

The Minister also alleged that TGSWREIS former secretary RS Praveen Kumar was the man behind the food poisoning incidents in Gurukuls across the State

The programme was organized by Fit India Foundation, a voluntary organisation to mark the birthday of BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar.
