Despite receiving appointment orders on October 9, with joining date as October 10, the newly appointed teachers are yet to receive their first salary, including October and November months, leaving them in a financial limbo.

Akhila (17) and Vijaya (17), both intermediate students from a college in Medak town, were involved in an accident while waiting to board a bus in Narsingi. They routinely traveled by bus to Medak for their studies. The Papannapet police have taken the bus driver into custody.
