Telangana: Bodies of married woman, lover found in lake

A married woman and her lover, who had eloped on Valentine's Day, were found dead in a lake in Medak district of Telangana on Thursday.

Medak: The bodies of a married woman, and a youngster with whom she was allegedly in a relationship before marriage, were found in a tank in Narsingi on Thursday.

According to the Narsingi Police, Kalpana, 19, and Md Khaleel, 22, were in a relationship for quite some time. However, Kalpana’s parents were against their relationship and got her married to another person a few months ago. A day before Valentine’s Day, Kalpana and Khaleel went missing from their residences.

Following a complaint, the police began investigation and found Khaleel’s bike and sandals on the tank’s bund on February 14. Three days later, with the search continuing, the bodies were found in the tank.

A case was registered and investigation is on.
