  • Telangana govt forms panel to revise fee norms for private professional colleges

    The Telangana government has formed a 10-member expert committee, led by TGCHE Chairman Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, to review and recommend updated parameters for fee fixation in private unaided professional colleges.

    In a crucial TAFRC meeting held here on Wednesday, it has been decided to constitute a sub-committee, which will thoroughly review the proposed fees hike in the private colleges.
  • Fees for professional programmes including engineering to undergo revision

    The TAFRC that fixes the fee for the private colleges offering professional programmes will issue a notification by July 25, inviting applications from the managements for fee revision.

    However, it can come into force from the next year only since admissions have already concluded for the present academic year and schools will commence the fresh academic session from June 12.
