The arrested persons were Shiva Kumar (28) of Delhi, Imtiyaz Khanum (22) of Bidar in Karnataka and Ravi, 22, also of Bidar.

Detective Inspector Scott Beard said police were called to the house in the suburb of Epsom at about 11:30 am and found three people in critical condition.

The victim, Gagan Agarwal (38), had divorced his first wife two years ago and married Nausheen Begum in last June.

The victim, identified as Mohd Feroz alias Farru, was waylaid and attacked by a few persons near Chottapul under the Rein Bazaar police station limits.

The deceased was later identified as Surajban Soni from Mumbai and the police registered a case under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder).

The police have registered an FIR under IPC sections 376 (rape), 302 (murder) and also under the POCSO Act against an unidentified person.
