The test was conducted to fill up 15,644 vacancies of SCT PC civil or equivalent posts, 63 vacancies of transport constables, and 614 vacancies of Prohibition & Excise Constables.

All the arrangements are made for police constable preliminary exam in Khammam and a total of 39,551 candidates are appearing for the exam in 105 examinations centres under Khammam Police Commissionerate.
