In a bizarre incident, a woman bit off the tongue of her husband when he persuaded her to return to his house on Friday.

Irked over the delay in food delivery, a customer had allegedly assaulted Mohd. Ilyas, the employee of a food delivery app in front of a hotel in Masab Tank on Monday night.

The persons arrested are Shakera Begum (39), Syed Irfan (30), property dealing agent, Shiva Kumar (35), event management and Syed Azeem (18), a private employee.

The arrested persons are Eswara Sai Kumar (22), a male nurse from SR Nagar and K.Sai Ram Reddy (22), a degree student from Nalgonda district.
