Irked over the delay in food delivery, a customer had allegedly assaulted Mohd. Ilyas, the employee of a food delivery app in front of a hotel in Masab Tank on Monday night.

The persons arrested are Shakera Begum (39), Syed Irfan (30), property dealing agent, Shiva Kumar (35), event management and Syed Azeem (18), a private employee.

The arrested persons are Eswara Sai Kumar (22), a male nurse from SR Nagar and K.Sai Ram Reddy (22), a degree student from Nalgonda district.

The Central Crime Station police has seized Rs 1.12 lakh from them and handed over to Mavala police for further action.

The police recovered six cell phones and seized an auto-rickshaw and a two wheeler from them.
