Medchal Malkajgiri emerged champions of the 8th Telangana State Inter-District Basketball Championship for Women held at the YMCA Secunderabad on Friday.

Medchal Malkajgiri and Hyderabad set up a title clash after registering comfortable victories over Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar respectively in the 8th Telangana State Inter-District Basketball Championship for Women at YMCA Secunderabad.

Hyderabad women thrashed Mahabubabad 44-12 in the 8th Telangana State inter-district basketball championship at the YMCA.

Team G9 boys teams clinched U-16 and U-19 basketball titles in the General Manager Cup held at the Railway Recreation Club. The U-16 G9 team defeated YMCA Youth 14-8 in the final while the U-19 team thrashed KPHB 21-14 to emerge champion.

The team G9 advanced to the quarterfinals of the U-19 3x3 basketball event of the General Manager Cup held at the Railway Recreation Club. The G9 team thrashed St Joseph’s 12-2 in the pre-quarterfinals.
