The deceased were identified as Raju (20) and Anvesh (18).

The injured victim, Neeraj, was shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)-Adilabad. His medical condition was stated to be critical.

The victim, Pankaj Ram (50), a resident of Medchal, who was driving the scooter with his daughter Puja Kumari as pillion rider, was crossing the road, when the mishap occurred.

The Consulate General of India in New York expressed condolences to the deceased student's family, stating they are in contact with his relatives and have urged local agencies to provide full assistance.

The victim fell on the road and sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The Suraram police shifted the body to mortuary. A case is booked.
