Addressing a massive crowd as part of his roadshow in Warangal, Chandrashekhar Rao said the Congress government was violating established laws including TS-bPASS and was not giving permission for new constructions in Telangana.

He said the voters could vote for the Congress if they had increased pension, Rs.2,500 under Maha Lakshmi and had kept the other promises made during the Assembly election campaign.

Harish Rao said Congress leaders were making illogical statements against him for talking about the promises.

Reddy has vowed to found a trust with Rs 100 crore budget drawing funds from his joint family's properties.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao led the celebrations, hoisting the party flag at Telangana Bhavan, the State headquarters of the party.

Touring the Bhongir parliamentary constituency, the Leader of Opposition travelled from Suryapet to Bhongir for the roadshow, with people waiting for him in large numbers en route.

Over the next 17 days, the former Chief Minister plans to conduct roadshows across 12 Lok Sabha constituencies, culminating in a public meeting in Siddipet on May 10.

Stating that phone tapping had nothing to do with the Chief Minister or Ministers, he said it was part of the intelligence gathering system by police officials.

Stating that politics in Telangana was now revolving around ‘votes in the name of the God and abuses against KCR’, Chandrashekhar Rao said the Congress was indulging in baseless allegations due to its incompetence in governance.
