BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday met Sivaratri Mallesham and his brother Sivaratri Ravi, who were released after 18 years of imprisonment in a Dubai prison after the intervention of the former Minister.

KTR said the BRS would organise a "Chalo Medigadda" programme on March 1 to expose the sinister designs of the Revanth Reddy government behind the vicious campaign launched by it against the project which served the State as its lifeline.

Independent journalist Shankar was waylaid at LB Nagar, while he was travelling in a car and was brutally attacked by around 15 persons late on Thursday night.

The 33-year-old MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment constituency died when the car she was travelling in hit the railing on Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Hyderabad early Friday morning.

He was reacting to media reports on the decision of the local prosecutor's office not to press charges against the Seattle police officer who was responsible for her death, citing lack of evidence.

The BRS working president said this was the first investment of JICA in the Startup sector after it expressed interest in fostering startups & entrepreneurial culture in India.

He feared that the environmental impact of the decision would adversely affect future generations of Telangana.

Shivaratri Mallesham and Shivaratri Ravi, both are siblings, Nampally Venkati, Dundgula Laxman – all hailing from Rajanana Sircilla district and Shivaratri Hanumant from Jagtial district, who were convicted in a murder case and thrown behind bars for the last 18 years in Dubai.

BRS MLAs, MPs, MLCs, corporators, and party workers organised grand celebrations across Telangana to mark KCR's milestone birthday.

Evansh also assured KTR not to worry, stating confidently that KCR would win the elections again.

PM Modi made an announcement to this effect on Friday, stating that the Bharat Ratna will be conferred to Narasimha Rao along with former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh and agricultural economist Dr MS Swaminathan.

He appealed to the party men to work with unity to wrest the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency from the Congress.

The BRS working president further said now the Congress government, which had nothing to do with recruitment, wants to fool people into believing that they have done it.

KTR took an auto ride to Telangana Bhavan at Jubilee Hills after participating in the Jubilee Hills Constituency-wide activist meeting held in Yousufguda, where addressed supporters.

Congress and BJP have been demonstrating a rare show of unity in working against BRS because of their strong "Fevicol bonding".

Rama Rao asked how would the Congress, which was failing to take its allies along with it, convince the people of the country.

Was it for achieving the State of Telangana, or developing it, he asked, going on to say that Revanth Reddy would evolve into the Eknath Shinde of Telangana once the parliamentary elections were over.

Accepting the lunch invitation, the BRS working president said the menu sounded interesting.

KTR urged exposing false promises and misinformation, emphasizing corrective actions.
