Palla Dharma Teja alias Sunny (27) and Sirivella Gurappa alias Sampath (23), both natives of Kadapa district in A.P travelled to Hyderabad regularly and indulged in stealing of vehicles parked at public places.

The arrested are Masood-ur-Rahman (31), a resident of Falaknuma, and Fazal ur Rahman (22), of Musheerabad.

Based on a tip-off, the gang was nabbed by the Task Force team with help of Shahinyathgunj police station

Task Force Inspector Ch Rana Prathap said that Chapile Vinod from Gangapur village in Chinthalamanepalli mandal was nabbed while smuggling the seeds on his motorbike from Telangana to Maharashtra.

They were identified as Kamalapathi Srinivas, a rice trader from Andhra Pradesh and Makavan Giridhar Bai, who were taking the rice from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka. 

The gold chain weighing four tolas valued at Rs. 2.80 lakh was recovered at his instance.

Liquid cash Rs 14.48 lakh and ten mobile phones were seized from their instance.

Two deer antlers were seized from them. The persons were identified as Pittala Shoban Babu (25), a fruit seller and resident of Medak, and Bonala Naga Chary (40) a gold smith from Warangal.
