The governing body of the ancient hill temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala here is over Rs 2.5 lakh crore, official sources said.

The Sri Venkateswaraswami temple at Tirumala recorded an all-time high of Rs.6.31 crore through offerings in the Hundi on the eve of Diwali festival.

The crown will have a close resemblance to the crown of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy, Tirumala.
