Telangana High Court quashed TGPSC’s Group-II 2016 final selection list, holding that the Commission illegally evaluated tampered OMR sheets in violation of 2017 court orders and Technical Committee report. Justice Nagesh Bheemapaka said transparency in public recruitment cannot be compromised.

The objective type Paper-I General Studies and General Abilities will be conducted between 10 am and 12.30 pm on December 15, 2024 while Paper-II, History, Polity and Society will be conducted from 3 pm to 5.30 pm on the same day i.e. December 15, 2024.

Observing the same, the judge issued directions to ensure reservations are implemented in accordance with law and granted the TSPSC time to submit its response through counter.

A total of 4.03 lakh candidates registered for the test, which will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1 pm at 897 centres across the State.

Provision for downloading of Hall Tickets to the candidates is already available on the Commission’s website from June 1 and candidates can download the same till the commencement of the exam.

Possession of the same will lead to invalidation of candidature for the exam/ exams. Hall tickets will be available on the website https://www.tspsc.gov.in/ for download from 2 pm on June 1.

Another reason that aspirants, several of whom were government employees, lamented that they could not prepare well for the test as they were occupied with the general election polling duties.

All candidates have been advised to obtain required certificates pertaining to EWS (for year 2021 to 2022), community, non-creamy layer for BCs, PwD, and study/residency (class to VII).

Satyanarayana, who also worked as BRS Medak president in the past, was part of the Telangana movement in Sangareddy.

The High Court held that “power of judicial review would not interfere with the policy decision so long as the same does not offend any provision of the statute or the Constitution of India”.

The list was prepared based on a merit secured in the recruitment examination and as per the existing rules and procedures framed and followed by the TSPSC.

The list of candidates shortlisted for certificate verification is available on TSPSC website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in).

A window to edit Group-I application will be available on the website https://www.tspsc.gov.in from March 23 to 27.

Keeping in view of the large number of requests received from candidates, the Commission decided to extend the last for receipt of applications for next two days i.e., till 5 pm on March 16.

The computer-based recruitment test for DAO posts will be conducted from June 30. A day-wise schedule of the examination will be announced in due course.
