Adilabad teacher who was washed away in Penganga river on Friday, was traced at Dollara village in Jainath mandal on Sunday.

Farmers community celebrated the annual Polala or Pola, a festival of thanks-giving to farm animals for toiling for their masters. Cultural programmes were also conducted to mark the occasion in certain parts of the district.

A government teacher accidentally washed away in Penganga river near Dollara village in Jainath mandal on Friday. The body is yet to be traced. Police launched a search for the body, but the operation was stalled due to darkness and swelling of the river.
