The State government, after careful consideration, has decided to modify the holiday from October 24 (Tuesday) to October 23 (Monday) as per the order issued by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari.

The schools will be closed from October 13 to 25, while the first-term holidays for junior colleges are from October 19 to 25.

These services will run with normal fares and a discount of 10 per cent will also be extended on advance reservation charges for online booking.

These special buses will be available for passengers from October 13 to 25. Advance reservation facility has been provided for 536 services in these special buses.

Officials have clarified that the 10 per cent discount will be applicable only to the passengers who make advance reservation till September 30, for their travel on those dates.
