As part of the Karimnagar Smart City program, the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar set up underground dustbins two years ago to keep the roads clean and prevent garbage from being scattered. A total of 14 dustbins were planned for installation across six locations, with an investment of Rs. 1 crore. However, dustbins were only installed at three of these locations. The condition of the dustbins has deteriorated, and the vehicle intended for garbage collection has remained unused.
