Traffic police in tri-Commissionerates collectively booked 1,10,310 persons this year for rash driving

Traffic police in the tri-Commissionerates are preparing ground to conduct intensified checks for drunk driving across all accident prone stretches

Around 93 persons, who were produced before the courts concerned, were sent to jail for durations ranging from a day to 30 days. And, a total fine of Rs 2.37 crore was also imposed on them.

The 39 year-old Indian was driving through a neighbourhood in Bur Dubai when he lost control of the car and swerved into another vehicle that was parked on the right side of the road, The National reported.
