Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders of Siddipet are confident that the Finance Minister T Harish Rao will win with a huge majority from Siddipet for the seventh consecutive time.

Stating that she got much love and affection from the people of Siddipet, Srinitha said Harish had a habit of noticing ideas from other countries which could be replicated in Siddipet.

He asked the BRS’s cadre to work hard for the next five days to bring victory to the party candidates, he added.

He urged the public to support the BRS party, which has deep roots in Telangana.

Highlighting the developmental strides under BRS leadership, Rao asked whether Manukota (Mahabubabad) would have seen infrastructure advancements without BRS's rule under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Harish Rao said that the AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge was delivering speeches in Telangana though his own party had failed to deliver in Karnataka, Kharge's home State

In an interview to PTI, Rao, nephew of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said people know that if they vote for the BRS, the development will start from the current point and any other dispensation has to do so from scratch.

The Finance Minister said that Congress was in power in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh but nowhere it was implementing the schemes which are listed in the manifesto in Telangana.

Addressing a media conference at Telangana Bhavan, he said that the senior Congress leader P Chidambaram proved to be no less than General Dyer, the man responsible for the infamous Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Addressing a meet-the-press programme organized by TUWJ, Harish Rao reiterated that the BRS and BJP stood poles apart in all aspects. The BRS was a secular political party.

While YS Sharmila, whose father had opposed the formation of Telangana State, had extended support to Congress, Harish Rao has said that actor and Janasena founder Pawan Kalyan had formed an alliance with BJP

He has said that Prabhakar Reddy will certainly win the election with a bigger majority.

"Do you need the government that was supplying power for five hours or 24 hours per day? he questioned the people.

The minister particularly criticized the deteriorating electricity situation in Karnataka under the governance of the Congress party.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Harish Rao said TPCC president A Revanth Reddy had already hinted at restricting supply of power to the agriculture services to only three hours a day.

During Income Tax (I-T) raids in Karnataka, where a reported Rs 42 crore in cash was discovered, Telangana's BRS ruling party accused the Congress of attempting to influence the Telangana Assembly elections with financial support.

The BRS has also charged that the Congress was planning to send over Rs 1500 crore to Telangana to fund Congress party candidates in electioneering.

Harish Rao has said that the Congress Party had failed to announce a single candidate even 50 days after BRS has declared its candidates.
