The programme will be launched by CM KCR in the presence of three Chief Ministers from other States as well at the Khammam Integrated District Offices Complex
As a part of this programme, people in the district would be screened at 152 centres set up in different parts of the city and on average, 200 people will be screened per day in each camp.
Chief Secretary noted that the State achieved an outstanding track record during the first phase of Kanti Velugu in 2018 and therefore efforts should be made to exceed the previous record during the second phase

The Rs 200 crore initiative, which will feature mass eye screening camps across Telangana, will cover 1.50 crore individuals and in the process distribute 55 lakh free eye glasses and medicines for the beneficiaries.
Chandrashekhar Rao will be launching the programme in the presence of three Chief Ministers, Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala, Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi and Bhagwant Mann besides former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
The Minister along with MLAs and others held a review meeting with officials of Hanamkonda and Warangal districts at the Collectorate complex here on Thursday.
