Collector Santosh said that the grains purchased through the centres were being shifted to rice mills as per capacity of the vehicles by tagging the produce.
Fourteen polling stations were classified as Maoist-affected ones, which would be under the protection of Central armed forces. The voting at these stations would be webcast, besides being under CCTV surveillance.
He asked the officials to create basic amenities to avoid inconvenience to the counting. He told police officials to make security arrangements to prevent untoward incidents.
In a statement, Santosh advised the candidates to submit their papers by visiting the office of returning officer or Collector at Integrated District Officers Complex (IDOC)-Peddapalli from 11 am to 3 pm till April 25 except for on public holidays.
