To clear extra rush during summer season, SCR will also run certain weekly special trains between Secunderabad – Danapur – Secunderabad.

One of the major factors for this buoyancy in earnings was the major thrust given by the zone towards meeting passenger demand by continuous monitoring of demand and introducing new and special trains wherever necessary and augment the existing trains having demand by attaching extra coaches.

The Clone Special train will start before the regular Danapur Express (Secunderabad – Danapur).

Accordingly, the Secunderabad – Raxaul (07005) service will run between April 22 and June 24 and Raxaul – Secunderabad (07006) service will run between April 25 and June 27.

The special trains will run between various destinations.

Accordingly, Train No. 07653 Kacheguda-Tirupati will run on Thursdays i.e., April 11, 18, 25 and May 2, Train No. 07654 Tirupati-Kacheguda will run on Fridays i.e., April 12, 19, 26 and May 3.

SCR officials requested rail users to make note of the change in the schedule and plan their journeys accordingly.

As a pilot project, this is being implemented in 31 counters spread across 14 stations in SCR Secunderabad division.

The station will not only reduce the congestion on other existing rail terminals but also to serve passengers in the eastern part of the city.

SCR officials said that presently, over 466 POS machines have been made available across SCR zone for PRS and UTS ticketing.

The train was rescheduled to depart at 2 pm on the same day ,i.e, on Sunday.

The 'Divya Dakshin Yatra' journey, part of the Bharat Gaurav Trains initiative by South Central Railway (SCR), embarked on its latest expedition from Secunderabad railway station on Tuesday.

To clear passenger rush during Sankranti, the South Central Railway (SCR) will run 20 special trains between Kacheguda - Kakinada Town and Hyderabad – Tirupati.

These shields will be presented by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at function which will be held on December 15 in New Delhi and SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain will be accepting it from the dignitaries.

The locomotive is equipped with modern state of the art IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) propulsion system which gives it regenerative braking capacity.

The train which was scheduled to depart from Secunderabad at 6:15 am, was rescheduled five times, only to depart for Tirupati at 12:15 pm.

This Amrit Kalash Yatra special train marked the final leg journey of Amrit Kalash from New Delhi and culmination of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign.

SCR General Manager Arun Kumar Jain said the Vande Bharat trains were a testament to the commitment of Indian Railways to enhance the travel experience and make the train journey more comfortable.

The special trains include Kacheguda- Kakinada Town (07653) to run on October 19 and 26 and Kakinada Town – Kacheguda (07654) to run on October 20 and 27

Accordingly, Hyderabad – Raxual (07051) service has been extended between October 7 and November 25, Raxual – Secunderabad (07052) extended between October 10 and November 28, Secunderabad – Danapur (07419) extended between October 7 and November 25.
