The PEN on SSC certificates will enable the Education department to track students’ academics, in addition to ascertaining school dropouts.

The programme is aimed at enhancing digital creativity skills among principals and teachers and is expected to benefit over 840,000 educators and more than 25 million students across CBSE schools in the country.

The exams began for 4,78,718 first year students, who are appearing for the second language paper-1 (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, Marathi and Kannada). 

Exams will be conducted from March 11 to March 28 in online mode all across India. Moreover, to facilitate the foreign, OCI and NRI candidates, CUET (UG)-2024 will also be conducted in 24 cities outside India, as per the details given on the CUET website.

Candidates can also apply with a late fee of Rs.2,000 and Rs.4,000 up to May 15 and 25 respectively.

The colleges principal can also download the hall tickets from their respective college logins and distribute the same to students immediately.

Each GREAT scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000 that will be paid towards tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate course in the UK for the 2024-25 academic year.

“Topics - general knowledge, aptitude and computers will be detailed in the modified syllabus. Apart from this, there are no changes in the test,” officials said.

The exams begin with the first language and conclude with the social studies subject.

The application deadline for these courses is February 7 and all programs will be conducted in Hyderabad.

The students during the protest also raised issues related to lack of potable water and basic amenities in the E1 hostel.

Candidates can register on the university portal www.braouonline.in and download the hall tickets two days before the entrance test.
