Kalvala Pochamma (65) and her daughter Gaddam Komuramma (45) suffered a severe electric shock after coming into contact with a live electric wire in the house.

The farmer has been identified as Chakli Nagaraju (27).

According to villagers, the deceased, Venkatesh, accidentally came in contact with live electric wires and sustained severe injuries

Reports indicate that due to frequent cable thefts at Pragathi Solar Plant, the management installed two electric fences to deter such incidents. On Tuesday night, two men allegedly attempted to breach the plant by cutting through the electric fences.

The victim was Dasari Pochaiah (60), who was engaged in sweeping work close to a Ganesh pandal, was electrocuted at Rajapet village on Monday morning.

According to reports, Maloth Pramila went to her agriculture field to work in the morning and accidently stepped on a live snapped wire. She died on the spot.

Panasa Laxmi (52) died on the spot when she came into contact with a fence, erected on her neighbour’s farm.

In a bid to rescue the woman Neerudi Manemma (45), her nephew Bhanu Prasad (19) also died. Manemma's daughter Srilatha also sustained serious injuries in the incident.

On Tuesday evening, while it was raining he came in contact with an electric pole and died on the spot.

The family members informed the police about the incident who shifted his body to government hospital for postmortem.

Bakolla Mallaiah (54) had gone to his paddy field to irrigate his field when he came in touch with live electric wires. He died on the spot.

Mongala Lakshmaiah had gone to his field on Saturday morning to irrigate his paddy field.

It is learnt that he touched an electrified fence meant for preventing crop damage by wild animals.

They were shifted to the Vemulawada area hospital while Bhumaiah’s body was shifted to Sircilla hospital for postmortem.
