Banoth Vennela, a tribal girl from Kamareddy district, has joined an elite club of tribal youngsters from the State who have climbed the Kilimanjaro Mountain on Jan 26.

He commended Santosh Kumar for launching Green India Challenge and inspiring common public as well as celebrities to plant 17 crore saplings.

It is the duty of every individual to take care of nature, she said and added that everyone should participate in Green India Challenge, plant saplings and take care of them.

On Dr. Sikha's request, Santosh Kumar gave his message as “Plant trees, protect and promote. Save environment, save nation and save globe.”

The Green India Challenge was initiated by Rajya Sabha Member J Santosh Kumar with a responsibility towards society, for the welfare of future generations and awareness of nature, he said.

He initiated the Green India Challenge which in the last five years has spread to all states and all sections of the society.
