The arrested individual, identified as Boinipally Suresh (35), hails from Paidurupadu, Vijayawada Rural in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.

They were Malliala Manideep of Nagepalli, Burra Vamshi Krishna, Pappu Anil and Sircilla Shivasai of Mugdumpur of Karimangar rural mandal. They were arrested while selling ganja near Manideep’s residence.

A statement from Manugur police on Monday informed that based on a tip off about ganja smuggling vehicle inspections were conducted by SI Meda Prasad and staff at Hanuman temple area in Manugur.

The seized ganja was worth Rs 1.23 crore and it was concealed inside a specially made rack parallel to the vehicle cabin’s rearside.

At Medchal, the SOT (Medchal) team nabbed Nilesh (28) and Sonu Kumar Prasad (21) while they were planning to sell ganja to local customers.

The police caught them at RC Puram and Allwyn cross roads Kukatpally. They were allegedly selling ganja packets to consumers for a price.
